Avoid Moaning and Groaning

 If you complain all the time, you will soon be very unhappy. You will not be able to institute change and improve your self. Moaning, groaning, and complaining is negative emotions which prevent you from being objective about life. Instead, they make you feel discouraged and depressed. You will only feel unhappy with yourself, what you do and the life you lead. People who moan and groan are often very powerful in that they can influence others to be miserable.

When you hear yourself moaning, groaning or complaining, stop yourself immediately. If you are in the habit of complaining all the time, give up the habit.  Avoid blaming, finger-pointing and accusing, all of which are evidence of poor attitudes and unproductive behaviour. Do not allow yourself to be overcome with anger and resentment. Keep hate well away from you. Your health will deteriorate if you maintain ill feelings and are hostile all the time.

For a couple of years till date, I have been one who speaks forward what I felt instantly. Sometimes I think people are born by nature to talk more bad about others than to credit what is the best personality of him/her. People are interested in backbiting and gossiping rather than learning and looking for knowledge that can advance one’s own career. For example; whenever I lecture and assign a task to a class they do not share their opinions but once they are out of class usually I could receive feedback as follow; lacking eye contact, looking at screen only, not audible, no limit of slides numbers, not able to understand teaching, short-tempered and assignment/presentation/debate were given while going for leave.  If all mention feedback is true then this is a right time for me to rethink and flashback whether I am failing in my responsibility.  All effort I am making it fail to convince my pupils.  What I expect and what they think always are a difference in nature. As a graduate level students, they must be more approachable by visiting an office or seeking appointment to clear doubts.   Now realising that counter argument only invites lots of chaos and unnecessary disturbance within one’s own mind, I am now looking for better solutions. I have no hesitation  to change that can reshape my way of life.
